Genes for your Wrist

"The geek in me came out! This is a representational eco friendly bracelet DNA design in hand embroidery. I was reading some scientific information and came across the DNA chain and had an aha! moment. It doesn't include all of the DNA information....

This cuff is made with a grey colored felted wool and lined with a soft, pale green, suede-like fabric The embroidery is done in multi-colors and edged in black with beads. The closure is a vintage, black button.

I design the patterns for these cuffs and then hand embroider them. No two are ever exactly the same, since I am doing this embroidery free hand from my drawn design.

By moving the button the cuff could be adjusted from 5.75 to 6.5 inches.

This one of a kind top was made using a t-shirt with the periodic table on the front. I've created fluttery sleeves by adding checkered fabric and trimmed the neckline with beige/white fabric. There's elastic under the bust area and a section of striped fabric and white fabric on the bottom. On the back, I've appliqued a printed image of a microscope.
