"Washi (和紙) is a type of paper made in Japan. The word wash comes from
Japanese words for “Japanese” and “paper.” Washi, also known as wagami,
is traditionally a handmade Japanese paper based on three chief
components: kozo or mulberry bark, gampi, and misumata.
Washi
tape is a high quality masking tape made of rice paper. It is a
material which is beautiful yet useful at the same time. You can tear
it, stick it, reposition it, write on it. The low tack adhesive makes it
extremely easy to use and reuse.
