Mandelbrot

"Fractals mathematical patterns that are infinitely self-similar. That is, any small part of a fractal pattern can represent the pattern as a whole. The Mandelbrot set, studied by mathematician Benoît Mandelbrot, is the set of values of c in the complex plane for which, under iterations of the polynomial z_{n+1} = z_{n}^2 + c, remains bounded (doesn't fly off to infinity). The Mandelbrot set is one of the most popular and recognizable fractals in mathematics.

Unfortunately, you can't zoom in infinitely on these earrings and expect to see self-similarity =P

These stud earrings are made of 3D printed plastic and hand-painted. The texture is rough, and the piece is coated in glossy enamel. Customs colors available...please ask."
